Women of India 2020 are no longer confined to the four walls of their homes. A large section of these women are educated and illiterate. The contemporary Indian woman is now a tool for social change in India. She being the epitome of courage, sturdiness and styled with the ability to don the garb of the many roles with ease, has more freedom compared to how it was a few decades back.

The country has come far with respect to the position of women; however, prejudices still prevail in some sections of our country.

SHAGUN — an event being organized by MyAnatomy in collaboration with CMR(Cyber Media Research) and ASSOCHAM is a platform which accepts every woman out there as an equal participant for the progress of home, society and nation.

SHAGUN

Shagun — the word coined for the mega event, will see participants from the student community, top notch leaders, experts across industries and more, importantly women who have made significant progress in their respective fields, come together and unleash the power within.

The event will witness a series of activities:

  • Inauguration ceremony of Event 'Shagun-The Auspicious' and Shagun Foundation on 8th March 2020.
  • Workshop on Self defence by Ritika Singh (Actress and Mixed Martial Artist) ( )
  • Corporate fitness program by Mr. Mohan Singh ( )
  • Guest Speaker Mr. DevduttPattanaik ( )
  • Panel discussions with Industry leaders and Inspirational personalities: ( Engage to Excel: Childhood to livelihood )
  • Audience engagement program with Mind Reader : Abhishek Majithia
  • Lunch and Networking Session.
  • Award ceremony for the nominees of various categories. (The details of the categories will be updated soon)
  • Prize distribution for cipHER-2020 (women hack-a-thon) winners and participants

CipHERdecrypter, a Theme based Hackathon where women are invited from colleges and universities across pan India to register and once your idea is selected you will be invited and presented with awards from one of the top judges from India. This event is aimed at bringing together the talented engineering students and celebrating women who are passionate about technology.
